Grandweld signs contracts with Jana Marine for five GrandExtreme Crewboats The large order demonstrates Grandweld’s position of leadership as a major crewboat builder, with Jana Marine a long term client of Grandweld. Dubai, United Arab Emirates – 17th October 2022: Grandweld, a leading shipbuilder with 38 years track record of successfully delivering more than 150 vessels, has signed a landmark contract with Jana Marine Services Co LLC to build five 42m GrandExtreme crew boats. Delivery of the first vessel will be in 9 months. This order brings the total number of vessels built by Grandweld for Jana Marine to twelve vessels, with Grandweld previously having built seven vessels for Jana Marine, including four crewboats, one work vessel and two harbour tugs. Grandweld is part of Stanford Marine Group which is wholly owned by Thalassa Investments. Thalassa Investments is 46.7% owned by Goldilocks Investment Company Limited, an ADGM company owned by Eshraq Investments, a public company listed on Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange. New design – GrandExtreme This order is for Grandweld’s new ‘GrandExtreme’ design, a 42m crewboat series developed by Grandweld’s in-house engineering department.  GrandExtreme design builds on its sister series, the GrandSuperior, by offering a wider, more spacious accommodation area, with an interior layout that can be customized to meet different charter requirements.  The first vessel will be uniquely designed with a higher offshore personnel capacity of 135, will meet the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) code for carrying dangerous goods and will have higher fuel capacity of 120cu.m. The other four vessels have a GrandMajlis lounge, office, large workshop, storeroom and offshore personnel seating. The vessels are in full compliance with the end customer’s latest requirements in Saudi Arabia. The launch of ‘Stanford Pelican’, Stanford Marine’s crew boat under construction at Grandweld Shipyards

The launch of ‘Stanford Pelican’, Stanford Marine’s crew boat under construction at Grandweld Shipyards, took place at Dubai Maritime City on Aug 16th 2022 in the presence of officials from both companies. The vessel is scheduled to be delivered by mid-Sept 2022. Stanford Pelican is a GrandSuperior series design crew boat, a new design of 42 m crew boats developed by Grandweld with a clear deck area of 100 m2, seating capacity of 80 seats and can achieve a speed of 24 to 26 kts. With a low draft of 1.82 m, high speed and good seating capacity, Stanford Pelican is an ideal vessel foroffshore support operations in the shallow waters of the Middle East. Stanford Pelican is one of the two crew boats being built at Grandweld Shipyards, Stanford Harrier the second crew boat is scheduled to be launched by Mid-October. Grandweld Signs New Contract with Wesal Shipping LLC Grandweld has signed the contract to build a 1 x 42m GrandSuperior aluminum crewboat for Wesal Shipping LLC. The ceremony was attended by Capt. Yazdan Panah, Managing Director of Wesal Shipping, and Jamal Abki, General Manager of Grandweld. This is yet another order for this highly proven crew boat that has an extraordinary reputation for exceeding customer expectations. The vessel design is renowned for high speed, high capacity, flexible functionality, and very high reliability. Stanford Bateleur in East Africa

Bateleur in action in East Africa! Stanford Bateleur, MMC 887 design DP2 PSV, has been supporting a survey campaign in the East African waters for the past few months. Bateleur has a 1000m2 deck and is currently in the final leg of the campaign, she is scheduled to be back in the UAE by end of the month.
