Dubai, UAE, 7 September 2014: IFS, the global enterprise applications company, today announced that Grandweld Shipyards, a fully integrated shipyard providing ship building, ship repair and engineering solutions will implement IFS Applications to enhance operational efficiency, increase business agility, transparency and uniformity of information.

Grandweld Shipyards will implement IFS ApplicationsTM to create a single information system encompassing project-based manufacturing, project management, asset management, work order, scheduling, document management,among others..

The initial phase of implementation will begin in September 2014 in the new headquarters in Dubai Maritime City and is expected to be completed by April 2015.
