Grandweld and Jana Commemorate Keel laying of Tugs

In a keel laying ceremony attended by Jana Marine key client representatives, Grandweld Shipyards marked the start of construction of two 33m mooring tugs – for Jana Marine services. Both vessels will be fitted with two Voith Cycloidal propulsion units necessary achieve to high degree of maneuverability. The vessels can reach a speed of 11.50 knots and has an accommodation capacity for 14 offshore personnel. The vessels are designed for unrestricted operation within the Arabian Gulf.
