Shipyards, has secured a contract worth over US $21 million from the Mexico-based COTEMAR, to design and build four 42M Fast Aluminum Crew Boats. The contract was signed on June 4, 2013.\n<br><br>\nThe world-class reputable design 42M crew boat will be fitted with EPA Tier 3 compliant main engines, and advanced navigation equipment to meet the client\u2019s specific needs. The vessels are designed to reach speeds in excess of 26 knots.  They benefit from luxury seating, accommodation for VIP guests, a larger deck space and enhanced comfort for the crew.  \n<br><br>\nThe vessels can seat 100 offshore personnel, and has a 100sqm loading area for over 90 tons of deck cargo. They can also carry a large amount of fuel and freshwater.\n<br><br>\nThe vessels will be built at Grandweld\u2019s yard in Dubai Maritime City, and will operate in the Gulf of Mexico. The vessels will comply with US Environmental Protection Agency requirements and US Coast Guards regulations.
